Terms of Use

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms govern your use of PracticeSheets, provided by the individual operator of PracticeSheets, based in Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us” or “operator”). Before generating an output, you must affirmatively accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the interactive tools. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, or use the service under the supervision of an adult who can do so.

2. What the service provides

The service provides general-purpose calculations, planning tools and printable materials for convenience. It is not professional, legal, tax, payroll, engineering, construction, health, educational assessment or other regulated advice. It does not replace qualified advice or your independent judgment. Features and example outputs may not fit your circumstances.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your inputs, choosing appropriate assumptions, checking every result and deciding whether an output is suitable. Verify material quantities, dimensions, dates, arithmetic, answer keys and other important details before relying on them. Keep your own records. Do not use the tools for emergencies, safety-critical decisions or decisions requiring a certified professional. Do not upload confidential information; these tools do not require personal records.

4. Permitted use

You may use and print outputs for your own personal, household, classroom, workplace and event-planning activities, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights in material you supply. You retain rights in your own input. We do not claim ownership of your private entries. You may not sell or republish the site’s original collections as your own, scrape or disrupt the service, bypass access restrictions, infringe rights, or use the service unlawfully. The site design, branding and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

5. No warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT PROMISE A PARTICULAR RESULT. YOUR USE AND RELIANCE ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK, SUBJECT TO THE RIGHTS THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO EXCLUDE.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE LOSSES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR YOUR RELIANCE ON AN OUTPUT, WHETHER OR NOT SUCH LOSS WAS FORESEEABLE. TO THAT SAME EXTENT, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED C$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a restriction is unenforceable, it applies only to the maximum lawful extent.

7. Advertising and third parties

Advertisements and external links may be supplied by independent third parties. Their presence does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee. Third-party products, transactions and websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before proceeding. Advertisements are not part of printable output.

8. Changes and service availability

We may correct, change, suspend or discontinue features. Material changes to these Terms apply prospectively; we will update the version date and seek renewed acceptance when required. Save a copy of the terms you accept. You may stop using the service at any time.

9. General provisions

If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the linked Privacy Policy and Disclaimer describe the conditions for using this service; nothing overrides mandatory protections under applicable law.
